This is our 2nd ever youth roller hockey clinic!  We are excited to have you.

No

2. Is there a discount if I am a YMCA member?

3. Do I need to bring my own roller skates?

If you are new to CSHL (Charlotte Street Hockey League), we'd like to share more information about our program:

We started out as Metro-Charlotte’s ORIGINAL co-ed, recreational adult and youth street hockey program!

Playing hockey informally as a group since 2010, we officially incorporated in 2019 as a 501c3 non-profit public charity.   Not only do we aim to deliver a fun, safe, and enjoyable hockey experience for all ages, we also partner with local businesses and raise money for charity and other great causes.

Our Board of Directors and our committees are made up of volunteers who are passionate about growing the game of hockey in the greater Charlotte area!

We ran out first ball hockey youth league Summer of 2021.  And now in the Fall of 2023, we are running our first youth roller clinic!

Will there be more?  In the future, yes.  We are looking to build out our volunteer base to offer more youth roller hockey events, clinics, and eventually leagues in partnership with the Morrison YMCA in Ballanyne.

Sunday, December 3rd at 2pm.

The clinic will run approximately 1.5 hours and conclude at 3:30pm.

Primarily for ages 7-13.  We will accept kids outside of this range.

Equipment requirements:

Roller blades/skates (CSHL is unable to provide)

Shin guards (CSHL has some extras) - hockey shins are ok, there are also specially made roller and deck hockey shin guards

Gloves

Stick (CSHL has some extras) - ice hockey sticks work.  You may want to use/invest in an ABS street hockey stick that is made for the wear and tear of outdoor use.

The price for this clinic is:

$15 per skater

$5 per goalie

This gets your child 1.5 hours of instruction and pickup/scrimmaging
